Our project’s idea is simple, it s realization still, is a big challenge. In January 2009 a four member team will leave from Craiova, will sweep a part of Europe, will pass the Mediterranean Sea to North Africa, and cross the Sahara to Bamako in Mali and from there will leave to Dakar.
This project is perfectly collocating with Budapest-Bamako annual Raid, organized by o professional team from Hungary. We will run with the 400 competitors who made from Budapest-Bamako an important and appreciated competition in Central Europe, Eastern Europe and not only.
The Budapest- Bamako Raid is having a strong media impact, the last edition being reflected in over 650 newspaper articles, 450 minutes of radio news and 42 TV reportages diffused in 95 countries. Travel Channel realized as well a 5 episodes serial about the Budapest-Bamako, diffused in prime time.
